Time to Change
The old adage "Those who fail to learn from their mistakes are doomed to repeat them" may be engrained into the memories of most modern day citizens, but few people actually take this slogan to heart (or mind). Though, it can be hard to change old habits. Sometimes I even find myself repeating the same technique at the same angle wondering if the next attempt will make a difference. However, there is, as of now, little room left for this sort of error. For how long can we hold on to this ignorance as a whole? Individually, repeating the same old mistakes can lead to relatively insignificant consequences, but collectively the impact is much greater.
Change is a great thing, it is, in fact, a requisite for survival. One of the features that led to the amazing evolution of the human species is our ability to adapt and see the world from a greater perspective. So, what's happening now? It seems that we've hit a block in the road and got cozy. Perhaps pressure need to build up for people to see that it's time to get moving again, (such as a severe crisis or disaster) but the fate of man in uncertain. Being part of the gene-pool, I for one hope enough people can alter their awareness to create the change needed to survive.
